Mark C. Turner
VP of Human Resources
Mark C. Turner is the Vice President of Human Resources of Marín de La Isla Verde, LLC. Paul had chosen him to join the team as Mark has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources. He has worked for large corporations such as Metro-North Railroad, JP Morgan Chase, American Express, and UBS financial services. In 2002, Mark left his role as a Divisional Vice President with UBS, to create the Human Resources Division for the Sean John fashion company. He grew the company from 50 employees to over 240 in less than 2 years.
Mark went on to work for several start-up tech companies as an HR Director, Generalist, and Technical Recruiter. He currently is the Talent Acquisition manager for ShopKeep, one of the country’s largest Point of Sale platforms.
Mr. Turner is a graduate of the City College of NY where he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. In addition, he completed the certificate program in Human Resources from Cornell University, the Management program from New York University, and the IT Engineering program for non-technical managers from Chubb Institute.
He continues to facilitate training courses in Performance Management, Sexual Harassment, Diversity and Inclusion, Interviewing techniques and practices, and career planning.
