I am very, very happy that this product is finally available. I have literally tried every frozen sofrito they sell in supermarkets, including the refrigerated ones, as well as the one GOYA sells on the regular shelves. NONE of them compare to Mi Sofrito Puro. This Sofrito tastes exactly the same as what my mother made when we lived in Puerto Rico. Thank you for bringing back so many memories!
If you are looking for authentic Puerto Rican sofrito, this is it plus more. This is the best sofrito I have ever had! One of my children is an extremely picky eater. No matter what my wife and I made or bought, she wouldn't eat it. We were struggling with this for months until we got our hands on this sofrito. Now my daughter eats all her food, no matter what my wife cooks. The blend and selection of the herbs are perfect! We have mainly used it in rice and chicken, but I have no doubt it will give any dish a flavorsplosion!
