On July 16, 2011 I had written the testimonial below on the Mi Sofrito Puro website and felt I needed to update and republish it here in English.

I'm so happy I don't have to do make my own sofrito anymore. It has always been a chore buying the ingredients, cleaning them, and then preparing them, not to mention that it tastes different every time I do it. Aggravating!!

I've tried other sofrito that are sold in supermarkets but, to be honest, my food tasted terrible after using those brands. My friend then told me about his product and brought me a pint. From the first day I used it I couldn't believe how good my food tasted. I have been using Mi Sofrito Puro now for about 9 years and EVERY liter, and now quart, tastes the same in every container! AMAZING!!!! You guys are the bomb.

By the way, I'm also excited that this is "Healthy Sofrito!" NO MSG and NO salt! Excellent! My husband has high blood pressure and cannot have salt! I also didn't know that GOYA Sofrito and GOYA Seasoning have MSG in the ingredients and I also noticed that some of the other sofrito companies also use MSG! Don't you know that this can kill us? Now I know why we were so tired after eating when I used him sofrito.

Due to your website, I don't cook with any other Sofrito. Thank you Marin Latin Foods for such an excellent product and the education it is providing to the Hispanic community! Keep going!
